
Georgia Kagioglou - Food Specialist Consulting
My name is Georgia Kagioglou, a Chemist with a degree from the Department of Chemistry at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Master's degree in “Quality Assurance and Production Organization in the Food Industry” from the International Hellenic University's Department of Food Technology.
During my professional career, I have collaborated with companies in the food sector in the fields of Cheesemaking, Olive Oil Production, Processing of Halkidiki’s Green Olives, Premium Antipasti, Salads – Spreads and Dressings, as well as Ready to Eat Meals. I have managed projects related to quality assurance, quality control, employee training, compliance with strict quality standards, and addressing operational challenges.
Through my academic education, professional career, and continuous training, I have specialized in Food Quality and Safety Management Standards such as ISO 22000, ISO 9001, IFS, and BRC. I am certified by TUV NORD and the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) as a Lead Auditor in Quality Management Systems for ISO 22000:2018 and ISO 9001:2015, as well as in the Occupational Health and Safety Management System ISO 45001:2018. Additionally, I am registered in the Trainers’ Registry of EFET (Hellenic Food Authority).
Recently, I decided to establish a consulting business, Food Specialist Consulting. This decision was based on my extensive experience in the food sector, in-depth knowledge of quality management systems, and the desire to provide specialized services that meet the needs of the industry. This effort is supported by esteemed colleagues with high scientific expertise, experience, professionalism, and multidisciplinary knowledge in the food industry.
Some of the key reasons that led to this decision are as follows:
